Here is the second installment of Troy's review of Perfectwatches.to, in which he talks about the Swiss Submariner he received. You can read the first part of the review of Perfectwatches.to

Purchase #2 : Rolex Swiss Submariner srl156 ($665) with Rolex box ($35). Total price with discounts and shipping: $582. Purchased June 2012.
“Now you must be wondering two things. First, why would he make a second purchase? It doesn't seem like the first one was good enough to try it again. Second, what's with all the different prices? I made a second purchase because, well, I'm not really sure as I write this. Looking back, I had some money burning a hole in my wallet and second, even if the Milgauss was perfect, it wasn't my style so I figured I would try it again. With the prices, all my purchases I paid through Western Union and with that comes a 20% discount. A little more of a risk since there are no protections but hey, I like discounts!
Let's get to the Submariner. As you can see with the pictures, at first look again, a great looking watch. Sure everyone has a Sub but that's kind of why I went for one. Obviously PW is known for their Rolex replica watches but I figured that the more popular models would be more precise and closer to the original. Overall I like it.

The selling point to the Swiss models is the ETA movement (this model has a 2836) as well as being manufactured closer to exactly like the original. It keeps good time, kind of like the Milgauss it runs fast, about a minute every 2 weeks. I will get this adjusted eventually. I thought for a second if it's about as accurate as the Milgauss, how do I really know it has an ETA movement? PW prides themselves in service and satisfaction but I go back to the world of counterfeits. I won't really know until I have the back opened.

Upon closer look, the “Swiss Made” under the 6 marker has no space like there normally should be. Nobody would notice this that doesn't have an authentic Sub. My coworker, who has an authentic Air King put it on the other day and didn't say anything, His only comment was “its heavy” (it weighs about 4.5 ounces/~127 grams with 3 links removed). The date dial looks off center to me but maybe it really isn't. I seem to have issues with unscrewing the crown. It seems like it doesn't want to spring out. Maybe it's just me and how I'm doing it but I'm not sure. I've thought about contacting PW since all they're watches come with a 6 month warranty. But I'm weary of receiving a replacement and it being less precise then the one I currently have.

The thing I like the least is the green hologram sticker. Does Rolex really do this? Or was this a ploy to better spot a fake? I can't see Rolex really doing this. It's so gaudy. The Milgauss had one but I took it off. The Sub as you see has one and I left it on for some reason (The numbers are wearing off). I'll probably take it off too.
Swiss Rolex Submariner Back View
In the end I love this watch. I've seen other Subs in person and with a quick look, I can't tell a difference. My wife thinks it looks great so overall, I'm pleased. I wear it every day.
I thought about a third purchase. Enough already right? Haven't I learned my lesson by now? I thought about a Swiss Explorer or Swiss DeepSea but then my wife asks if they have any women's watches. She wonders why I keep buying Rolex's while she “only” has a diamond Bulova I bought for her on her last birthday. So I showed her what PW had to offer and she saw the word “Cartier”. Then I heard “I want a Cartier”. She narrowed it down and picked one. Order placed mid-August and should be here in a couple weeks. More to follow!”
Thanks Troy! Just a note for our readers – authentic Rolex watches do indeed come with the hologram sticker, and that's why you'll see it on any good Rolex replica watches . It is gaudy, but it's really intended to verify authenticity and can be easily removed. Looking forward to hearing more from Troy – thanks again!
